My Fallow Week

Sunday began six days of coughing and sleeping, not dramatic but appropriate for GroundHog Day, the movie. I feel normal again.

Google seems to show no interest in restoring Ichabod, but other plans are hatching. Most of it will return, God willing.

I did not get the set-up finished for the new broadcasting platform - RESI - so I will use Vimeo on this blog on Sunday. Onboarding for RESI is Tuesday, two hours worth, so I am expecting a lot more support than Vimeo and Ustream/IBM before.

The worship services are being archived on Facebook at Bethany Lutheran Worship, TLH, KJV and on YouTube.

I consider opposition and censorship a good sign - that people are threatened by the truth. I would rather see the Four Freedoms from the Bill of Rights restored. There is plenty of evidence of the Bill of Rights being restored. However, when people are ignorant of the Constitution, that is much harder to accomplish.

I woke up to find no Ichabod. Someone said it happened already by 2AM, maybe earlier. I clicked the link and it said, "Blogger's spam-prevention robots have detected that your blog has characteristics of a spam blog. (What's a spam blog?) That message only appeared once.

Needless to say, I am done with Blogger. Tomorrow, January 30th, the broadcast will be via this blog. You will see the player at the top, like last Sunday.

By next Sunday I expect to have the new arrangement (not Vimeo, but RESI) set up on the new platform. I like having the latest post on the front page, so feel free to make suggestions.

The last thing I will do before a service is set up the live Vimeo player on the top post with the service, hymn links, and sermon on it. The Vimeo player will not show for you until I have put the new one there. So, under the top graphic will be script about the player below, then it will open up with a graphic when I have started it.
